Sea Terrace Room Tour: Virgin Voyages Scarlet Lady
Overview
When you book a cruise with Virgin Voyages, you're not able to choose the specific location of your room in advance. Similar to a hotel, this is determined by the cabin type at booking time.
Virgin Voyages also calls their cabins different names, but the types of cabins are generally similar to those offered by other cruise lines. Options include Insider (interior), Sea View (ocean view), Sea Terrace (balcony), and RockStar Quarters (suite). There are a few subcategories of cabins based on size and location, much like most cruise lines
93% of the cabins have a view of the ocean and 86% have a balcony. These staterooms are meant to maximize space and are also near some of the best views on board Scarlet Lady.
The Sea Terrace cabins come in 2 sizes - both the Standard and the Central are 225 sq. ft and the XL is 265 sq. ft. The only difference is that the Central Sea Terrace is located midship.
All rooms include rainfall showers, mood lighting, a 43+ inch TV, bathroom toiletries, several power and USB outlets, and a safe big enough for your laptop.
The best thing about the Sea Terrace, in our opinion, is that most of them feature a hammock, as well as a newly designed, transformational Seabed. This Seabed can serve as a sofa during the day and a bed for the night. Or, you can leave it like a bed like we did.
